What is a client portal for a stone fabricator?
One place where the customer sees what you sold.
A client portal is a private page where your customer can follow the job without calling the shop: the proposal you sent, the contract, and where the job stands.
In StoneCraftOS each customer has a private link. It is read-only, so customers see their current quotes, contracts and jobs but cannot change anything.
The problem
Approvals and deposits stall in text threads.
- QuoteThe proposal goes out as an attachment.
- QuestionThe customer asks if it arrived.
- ContractThe contract is printed, signed and photographed.
- DepositThe deposit is a transfer someone has to confirm.
- StatusEvery week the customer asks where the job is.
- The costSlow approvals delay the slab order and the production schedule.
Every manual step is a place where the sale cools down.
A signed contract and a paid deposit should not depend on someone answering the phone.
How it works
From proposal to paid deposit, in one thread of record.
- 01 Proposal Share a proposal link or PDF by e-mail or WhatsApp.
- 02 Contract The customer reads and accepts the contract online.
- 03 Payment link Send a card payment link for the deposit or balance.
- 04 Settlement A paid link is recorded and the receivable is settled.
- 05 Portal The customer follows the job from one private link.
The customer acts. The record updates itself.
Contract acceptance
Customers accept the contract online, with a record.
The customer opens a private link, reads the full contract and accepts it with two confirmations. Each acceptance is stored with the date and time, the IP address, the browser and a fingerprint (SHA-256) of the exact text that was accepted.
- Date, time, IP address and browser recorded
- Fingerprint of the accepted contract text stored with it
- Accepting the contract creates the project automatically
- Public proposal link and PDF, ready to share
Online payments
Card payments that close the receivable for you.
Generate a payment link for a deposit or balance. The customer pays by card on a secure Stripe checkout page. When Stripe confirms the payment, StoneCraftOS marks it as received and, if the job has an open receivable, settles it in your bank account with no manual entry.
- Payment links expire, so old requests cannot be paid by mistake
- A link can be paid once — repeated confirmations are ignored
- Payment confirmed by Stripe's signed webhook
- Requires your own Stripe account to be connected
Client portal
A private page for every customer.
Each customer has a private link that shows their jobs with status and expected delivery date, their quotes with a link to the proposal, and their contracts. It is read-only and shows only that customer's records.
- Jobs with status and expected delivery
- Quotes with a link to the proposal
- Contracts and their status
- Draft quotes and cancelled contracts stay hidden
- Available in Portuguese, English and Spanish

FAQ
Client portal and online payments, explained.
What is a client portal for a stone fabricator?
It is a private, read-only page where the customer sees their quotes, contracts and jobs without calling the shop. In StoneCraftOS each customer has their own private link.
Can customers accept contracts online?
Yes. The customer opens a private link, reads the contract and accepts it online. StoneCraftOS records the date, time, IP address, browser and a fingerprint of the accepted text. Check with your attorney how this fits the rules where you operate.
How do online payments work?
You send a payment link. The customer pays by card on a Stripe checkout page. When the payment is confirmed, StoneCraftOS marks it as received and settles the job's open receivable. It requires your own Stripe account.
Does the customer need to create an account?
No. The portal, the proposal and the payment link work from a private link, with no login.
Can customers change anything in the portal?
No. The portal is read-only. Draft quotes and cancelled contracts are not shown.
